Mill Accreditations:
We work with a range of Mills whose accreditations cover materials, chemicals and sustainability. (OEKO-TEX, Higg Index, GRS, Blue Sign, FSC & Change Plastic For Good).

OEKO-TEX

If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted by independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on the basis of our extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue. In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health. https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/our-standards/oeko-tex-standard-100

Higg Index

Assessments that give insights into social and environmental performance of facilities Tools included: Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM); Higg Facility Social & Labor Module (FSLM) Purpose: To identify opportunities for continuous sustainability improvement in facilities. What they measure: 7 environmental and 9 social management categories. https://apparelcoalition.org/the-higg-index/

BLUE SIGN

Bluesign® offers manufacturers a confidential, secure platform, including a self-declaration function, in combination with an annual onsite verification to easily validate, manage, and communicate the main e-key performance indicators (e-KPIs) of water consumption, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, chemical consumption, and waste. https://www.bluesign.com/en/services/manufacturers

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)

FSC’s sustainable forestry standards translate into tangible actions that make a positive impact on the world’s forests. The certification system verifies sustainable sourcing of forest products and ecosystem services at every step of the value chain, from forest to consumer. The most visible symbol of certification is the FSC label, which can be found on millions of products and is recognized by 56% of consumers around the world. Every FSC label is backed by a diverse ecosystem of forest managers, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and others committed to upholding a common set of responsible forestry standards. https://fsc.org/en/how-the-fsc-system-works

Change Plastic for Good

BDP® attracts microbes to the plastics in oxygen free, microbe rich environments such as landfills, oceans and soil. What would otherwise take centuries, BDP® reduces to years. Once plastics break down, BDP treated plastics are digested by microbes and the byproducts of this process are biogas and humus. The bio gases can be collected for clean energy and the humus is just organic compost. https://www.changeplasticforgood.com/product/

Supplier Accreditations:

We work with suppliers who meet a strict code of accreditations (ISO 9000, Amfori/BSCI, SMETA & WRAP).

ISO 9000

It is a set of five quality management systems (QMS) standards that help organizations ensure they meet customer and other stakeholders needs within statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product or service. https://www.iso.org/iso-9001-quality-management.html

Amfori/BSCI

It enables companies to trade with purpose by improving social performance in their supply chain. It's strong code of conduct has 11 principles, that supports the members. These range from fair remuneration to no child labour, along with a step-by-step approach that enables companies to monitor, engage, get empowered and receive support to put sustainable trade at the heart of their business. https://www.amfori.org/content/amfori-bsci

SMETA

It is an audit, which helps us to understand standards of labour, health and safety, environmental performance, and ethics within your own operations or at a supplier site. The supplier is provided with a Corrective Action Plan to help improve performance in these areas. It is designed to help protect workers from unsafe conditions, overwork, discrimination, low pay and forced labour. https://www.sedex.com/solutions/smeta-audit/

WRAP

Every WRAP-certified facility undergoes an intensive social compliance audit verifying it abides by their 12 principles, which are based on local laws and internationally recognized standards. Unlike other programs, WRAP provides annual, independent determinations of each facility’s standing and incorporates risk-focused reviews after certification to confirm continued compliance. https://wrapcompliance.org/en/about/what-we-do.

Traceability

In partnership with Trimco, we are planning to implement the use of QR Code to explain details about each product: which country it was made, which factory made it, where the fabric is from and what recycled materials have been used.
