I've never has a tri suit so not sure what to compare to but I'll provide my experience having tried both medium and large, and wore the suit in the pool then on a bike ride.

- I'm 5"9' 150lbs both medium and large fit snuggly and comfortably enough. The medium however had leg elastic that were far too tight on my non-twiggy legs. I was more comfortable in the large due to leg elastic.

- the suit has scratchy fabric that isn't covered by the soft material, this is neat the zipper. It didn't bother me while swimming or biking but, oh, it was distressing while simply wearing it. Almost unbearable. I had to take scissors to the fabric which scares the shit out of me.

- fabric is light weight but to be honest held as much water as my regular swim suit, I find it difficult to believe this is more quick drying than a swim suit. I was so so so cold and soggy in my bike ride. Oy.

- the neck is quite loose, sort if baggy in front as I'm cycling there's a wind tunnel created, prolly same in the pool. Also loose in the back of my neck but that seems less concerning. At least it didn't strangle me.

All in all, worth the money but some area for improvement I think. Maybe all tri suits are like this? IDK 😶
