Followed the sizing advice and still a bit too big for me. Hence not sure I’m feeling any compression benefit with this size.

Finally! Women's running shorts with functional pockets! I wore these shorts for a marathon, easily and comfortably carrying my keys, phone and some gels in the well-designed pockets in the back waistband. The wide waistband allows for ample pocket storage while fitting snuggly without digging in. The compression was noticeably supportive throughout the race with zero chafing! There is a drawstring, which I don't find necessary, and thankfully was able to pull out since it wasn't fastened in the seams. I wish these shorts came in all black, or black with other colours for the logo, so I could buy multiples! The only reason I did not rate as 5 stars is because the seams at the crotch are not in the best positioning and the gusset could be a bit bigger to alleviate that.

lovely feel to the quality of the fabric. I have given 5* but my comment is my fault. I ordered XS but its a bit of a 'wiggle' to get on so maybe should have purchased size S. I have had to highlight below in size purchased a S but I actually purchased a size XS and there is no option to highlight as not listed.

I have so many 2XU leggings! They never fail. This is my second perches with the shorts compression to add the my full length collection . i love the Mid Rise. i feel its more supportive over the hip and lower back area. if you are after compression 2XU are the best.. worth the price with the quality.
