Avoid contact between the smooth skin side of the neoprene and anything abrasive. Gloves are provided to assist prevent finger nail nicks when putting on or taking off.
To further assist with minimising a dreaded fingernail tear, start with the wetsuit inside out, ensuring you are looking at the chest, not the back zipper as you hold it up.
Lay the suit on the ground in front of you and insert your feet through each opening. Begin to tug the suit up over your lower legs, working evenly and alternatively from leg to leg.
Once you have the suit up and over your chest, do one arm at a time in the same manner (with it inside out).
Your 2XU wetsuit should fit snugly, but not restrict movement or breathing. It will loosen slightly when wet.
The legs should extend about 3/4 down the shin, ensuring the suit sits high in the crotch to prevent shoulder strain.
The neck is a prime area for water entry, so a secure fit is essential. Fit should be firm but not tight. If it bunches, the suit is too big.
