I've read the studies. Compression tights are at best a placebo, at worst another piece of overpriced gym gear, bought with good intentions but sitting neglected in our cupboard. I wore these tights last night and did a 20% harder workout than usual. My legs feel fine today. I wear them because it's cold where I live, too cold for shorts, but I can't workout in trackies. So tights fill the niche. I swear it's not like I'm getting some kind of kick out of wearing them...look, I can't lie, they feel good, I mean really good. And they look awesome!

These tights were on sale for a great price. They are very comfortable but in my haste not to miss the sale I bought a size down from my usual. Regardless, they are still great except the waistband is a little firm. All the more reason to keep working on my running!

I have now bought a few pairs of leggings from 2XU. I have to order online because local stores don't carry them. I'm still figuring out the fabrics, styles, etc. I love these and glad I accidently had 2 in my cart when I checked out! Some 2XU leggings are more shiny slippery, these have just a bit of a brushed cottony feel while still being compression. I'm hour glass shaped, and the waistbands on 2XU are wonderful that the stitching holds and doesn't rip when pulling them up over my hips, but then my size is perfect for my waist when I have them on. I am in between sizes, and I went with my lower size per the reviews and that was the right choice. I love these so much & with the logo being small and at the bottom, I *may* actually consider wearing them with a cool pair of boots and long sweater when we return to the office :)
